The Dryode™ Alpha offers waterproof, research-grade signal quality with the ease of a consumer product. This state-of-the-art flexible dry electrode is designed for biopotential data acquisition (ECG, EMG, and EEG). Connect Dryodes to any OpenBCI board (sold separately) using OpenBCI snap electrode cables, as well as standard snap electrode cables.

Scientifically Validated for EEG, EMG and ECG

The Dryode™ material resulted from extensive research in collaboration with ETH Zurich. The paper titled, “Skin Conformal Polymer Electrodes for Clinical ECG and EEG Recordings” was published in the Journal of Advanced Healthcare Materials.

The Mobile Health Systems Lab of ETH Zurich published a paper featuring the Dryode™ Alpha for sleep EEG research. “A Protocol for Comparing Dry and Wet EEG Electrodes During Sleep” was accepted to the Frontiers of Neuroscience, Neural Technology in June 2020.
