Difference Between the Meeting Owl Pro and the Meeting Owl 3

The Meeting Owl 3 has the same look and feel as the Meeting Owl Pro, but there are a few key improvements for this next-generation Meeting Owl:
 

• Improved Intelligence System: The Meeting Owl 3 comes with a new and improved Owl Intelligence System that aims to deliver a hybrid meeting experience that feels nearly like sitting in the room. It auto-focuses on whoever is speaking for face-to-face conversations, and it gets smarter over time with new features and enhancements to improve collaboration.

• USB-C connection: The Meeting Owl 3 comes with a USB-C to USB-C cable for connection to the host computer. USB-C has become more prevalent in recent computer models due to a number of added benefits compared to previous USB types. Not only does this ensure that your Owl stays up to date with the rest of your meeting technology, but since USB-C is reversible, it also makes it easier to plug into your Owl. 

• Expansion Mic compatibility: The Meeting Owl 3 includes a micro HDMI port for connection to the Expansion Mic. The Expansion Mic can extend the range of the Meeting Owl 3’s microphones by 8 feet (2.5 meters) in the direction of the mic. This can increase the pickup range of a singular Meeting Owl 3 from 18ft to 26 ft. With Owl Connect, the use of two Meeting Owl 3s and two Expansion Mics can reach up to 60 feet (18 meters) of audio pickup from end to end.

• New Main Stage design: The Meeting Owl 3 comes with a re-designed Main Stage view, including changes to stage icons, borders, and more. This results in a cleaner, more professional video window, ensuring that meeting participants can stay focused on what’s important. 

• Increased Mute control: When the Meeting Owl 3 is connected to an Expansion Mic, in-room participants now have the option to mute the Owl’s microphone system using either the Mute button on the Owl or the Mute button on the Expansion Mic. This increases accessibility to the Mute button, so that more people can Mute/Unmute the entire microphone system during a meeting.
